Appfire Adds AI-Native Solutions Built for Knowledge Workers and Agents
Boston – Appfire, a leading global provider of enterprise solutions connecting the world’s top platforms, today announced the general availability of Appfire LiveRisk and Appfire QueueZero, as well as an Early Access Program (EAP) for Appfire JMWE Advanced. All three are built for the same reality: people and agents working together. These new products mark the latest expansion of Appfire’s AI-native portfolio, helping teams automate work, make better decisions, and address broader business challenges within the platforms they already use.
What’s New Across the Appfire Portfolio
Appfire’s latest products address distinct challenges across security, software development, and enterprise workflows — each rooted in real challenges Appfire encountered across its own engineering teams. These internal solutions are now being made available for teams facing similar challenges addressing engineering capacity, risk management and workflow automation at scale:
-
Appfire LiveRisk brings risk management, including cybersecurity, directly into Jira, using AI to help identify and assess potential risks and develop treatment plans while keeping risk owners in control of final decisions to work smarter and faster.
-
Appfire QueueZero drives efficient resolution of backlogged work items with autonomous agents, freeing up humans to deliver new, higher-value innovation.
-
Appfire JMWE Advanced (EAP) brings Appfire’s workflow and automation capabilities into one offering, helping enterprise teams consolidate, govern, and scale automation across complex Jira environments. The early adopter program is now available for customer sign up.
“AI is fundamentally reshaping how modern teams work, not just how software is built,” said Ed Frederici, CTO at Appfire. “Organizations don’t just need AI features snapped into old tools, they need intelligent systems that surface actionable insights, eliminate manual friction, and amplify team output without sacrificing visibility or human judgment. What we’re introducing is designed for that reality: delivering embedded AI intelligence that helps teams operate smarter and move faster today.”
LiveRisk and QueueZero are both available via free trial. Customers can also register for the free JMWE Advanced EAP.
Building For Enterprise Teams of the Future
These launches mark a shift in Appfire’s focus: from apps that extend individual platforms to solutions that help enterprises run, measure and govern work across people, agents and platforms. The new offerings reflect Appfire’s broader focus on solving business-critical challenges across the enterprise by further empowering knowledge workers. From continuous risk management to removing the backlogs and workflow bottlenecks that slow development teams, Appfire is expanding its portfolio to address more complete business problems.
BigPicture Advanced, introduced in August, reflects the same direction, extending from Project and Portfolio (PPM) Management into Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) to connect work in Jira with broader business priorities.
“We want customers to experience the value of these innovations firsthand, and play an active role in shaping where they go next,” said Lorna Russell, Vice President of Product Management at Appfire. “By working directly with customers through onboarding and our Early Access Programs, we can accelerate time to value, focus on measurable outcomes that matter across the organization, and bring real-world feedback directly into how these products evolve. It’s a collaborative approach that helps us build alongside our customers and solve the challenges that matter most to their businesses.”
